As we transition back to school, we know how important daily check ins can help you connect with your child. ❣️Asking creative, open-ended questions allows children to express their feelings in a way that feels safe and less pressured. ❣️Remember, just like adults, children need some time to decompress after school and may not be ready to respond or engage in a back and forth conversation. ❣️Try to remain attuned to the body language they are giving you. You can always try again later.
